For my entire career, I’ve been completely against online coaching. Why? I did not believe that it was possible to provide a valuable coaching experience in a long-distance format. I’ve seen way too many people doing it wrong and taking advantage of people in need of fitness advice.

I recently proved myself wrong. I developed a system of processes that I can confidently say WORK and will create a truly VALUABLE training experience for my online coaching clients. The keyword is system. This is not your run of the mill online training service. This is a comprehensive, individualized training system that is just as in-depth as my in-person training protocols – if not more in-depth! Here are the foundational pillars that make this online coaching system unique and successful.


It all begins with an assessment. This is the first and most important aspect of my online client intake process. After a general questionnaire of personal exercise history and a 30-minute phone consultation, we will have either a live or recorded-and-emailed movement assessment. This will not only help me provide you with optimal programming, but will give me an idea of how you move and where you weaknesses may be.

I believe every single person who is getting in-person or online coaching MUST get an assessment. How can we improve posture, performance, mobility and more without first getting a baseline of movement quality?

We’ll also test your personality type to determine the best methods of coaching you’ll have a greater psychological response to.

I can provide a live assessment via FaceTime or Skype, or send you the assessment to do at home on your own time, record and email to me for further review.


After the assessment, you will receive a 4-week training block loaded into a smartphone app that only you will have access to. This app allows you to track every set, rep and weight lifted during your training. We will both have real time access to that to monitor progress on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly time frame.

Your training program, of course, will be specific to your personality type, body type, imbalances, goals, experience, etc. Within the app, there are demo videos for every exercise I program for you and notes included on execution of the exercise.

Every 4 weeks, a new training block will be loaded up for you to crush!


In addition to the app with your program and progress hosted, we’ll have shared access to spreadsheets that monitor external factors of your training. We’ll track Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) to monitor your recovery and readiness levels. We’ll track your sleep. We’ll track your dietary habits and food intake. All of this data will be useful in driving successful results for you.

Other forms of accountability include:

  • 24/7 email and text access
  • Weekly 15-minute phone check-ins (or Skype/FaceTime)
  • Daily form checks on major lifts
  • Nutritional guidance
  • Milestones and goal management

Consistency and accountability are going to be huge since this isn’t in-person, but the system in place will ensure you have the proper support to achieve your goals!
