It’s time for another weekly installment of The Weekly Roundup: The Things That Didn’t Suck. Each week I’ll feature 3 awesome articles that I read during the week that I feel everyone can benefit from, then some random highlights and lowlights from the week for some extra news. Each week you can expect to get quick access to impactful info and learn something new. A lot of stuff on the web just sucks – but not this stuff!

Worst Things of the Week:
For the first time in several weeks, I did not see anything on the internet that made me want to punch a wall. I didn’t seen anyone doing 1,000-pound wall sits. No ab exercises that involved getting kicked or punched in the abs repeatedly. Not even a trace of a Bosu Ball floating across my timeline. I am massively disappointed. Please, if you happened to catch something aweseomly stupid, send it my way.
Best Things of the Week:
- Self-employment week 1 is in the books! And it was even better than expected. Thank you to everyone supporting this next chapter of my career.
- For the second month in a row, I was lucky enough to be featured in the physical print edition of the IDEA Fitness Journal. If you are a subscriber, please check that article out and let me know what you think! It’s one of my only published works speaking to the professional instead of the public, so I am anxious for all feedback – good or bad. Hope it help a lot of coaches help a lot of people.
- Yesterday, the PLAE Summit at Noblesville High School was one of the best educational experiences of my life! Shout out to Matt Rhea, Brandon Marcello, Kelly Starett, Brett Bartholomew, Jim Kielbaso, Al Vermil, Ron McKeefery, Brian Clarke and everyone involved in making that such an awesome event for hundreds of coaches. If you ever have a chance to attend a PLAE clinic or see any of the above mentioned guys speak… DO IT!
